We did it again. We’ve raised the bar for the whole, entire beauty industry by getting B Corp certified. We’re feeling pretty good about it.
It stands for B Corporation. B Corps are companies that use business for good. To put it simply, you’re not going to find Mr Burns running a B Corp.
The purpose of B Corps is to create a positive impact on the world. The idea is to generate a shared prosperity for all. Sounds good, right?
To become certified, a company has to pass a full on assessment by B Labs. This test explores the company’s governance, transparency, and environmental and social impact. B Corps hold themselves to a higher level of accountability in these areas.
So, yep. They’re the good guys.
It means you’re on a mission to save the world.
B Corps use their business to try and solve social and environmental problems. Together, B Corps redefine success in business. They compete not to be the best in the world, but to be the best for the world.
For us, that means always challenging the ugly side of the beauty industry. Our products and processes promote environmental sustainability and cruelty free beauty. We also actively give back to the community through our charity work.
We are the first B Corp cosmetics company in the world and we couldn’t be more proud.
So, thanks for supporting us and our commitment to ethical beauty. We couldn’t have done it without you.
