This base coat makes the perfect foundation for your Kester Black polish. Using a base coat will prolong the wear of your manicure and assist with reducing nail polish chipping.

  • Helps nail polish adhere better preventing chipping and peeling.
  • Promotes healthy nail growth.
  • Smooths out imperfections creating a more even and polished look.
  • Protects nails from staining.

Clean and prep your nails for painting by wiping them down with a cotton pad soaked in Nail Cleanser or isopropyl alcohol. Apply one coat per nail and allow to dry before starting your manicure.

Trying it out

I've just started using this product, so I can't really comment. So far so good, but as I'm interested in restoring my nails (psoriatic arthritis), I am mainly concentrating on Rest and Repair Wonder Mask. I do not know how to answer your questions as I have only used it once, but I'm assuming it will be excellent, like other Kester Black products

Great base which prevents damage to nails

This base coat is quick drying, easily adheres the colour on the nail whilst protecting your nails from discoloration that can happen with other nail polishes.
